According to officials in the Education Department, S Nandhini from Dindigul district has accomplished a remarkable achievement, as announced by the Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) on Monday when the results were declared.
S Nandhini, a student at the government-aided Annamalaiyar Mills Girls Higher Secondary School, received a flawless mark in the Class 12 board exam results, which were released on Monday. In Tamil, English, Economics, Commerce, Accountancy, and Computer Application, she received a perfect score.
She received 4998 out of 500 in class 10 and 598 out of 600 in class 11. Nandhini’s mother S Banupriya works as a housewife, and her father S Saravanakumar is a carpenter.
Nandhini credited her achievement to effective time management and explained that she refrained from appending time to leisure activities. However, she did participate in co-curricular activities such as essay competitions and elocution. Nandhini expressed gratitude towards her Tamil teacher, Anuradha, for nurturing her interest in the language.
In an interview, S Nandhini revealed her ambition to become an auditor. The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) declared the results of the class 12 exams in Tamil Nadu on Monday, revealing a pass percentage of 94.03% out of over 8 lakh students who took the exams in March-April. Among the students who passed, 93.76%. Additionally, 3,923 out of the 4,398 differently-abled candidates who appeared for the exams passed, and 79 out of 90 prisoners who took the exams also passed, according to the DGE.
