On Thursday, The Board of Control for Cricket in India announced the yearly contract list for Team India Senior Women. There were a total of 17 players who were categorized into 3 Grades Grades A, B, and C.
Smriti Mandhana, Deepti Sharma, and Harmanpreet Kaur are added to Grade A. Jemimah Rodrigues and Renuka Thakur, along with 3 other players are added to Grade B. On the other side, Yastika Bhatia, and Sneha Rana along with the other 7 team players are added to Grade C.
As per a recent publication, BCCI didn’t disclose anything about the Salaries of Women Cricketers.
According to last year’s contract announcement for the 2020-21 season, the women’s players received Rs. 50 lakh (Grade A), Rs. 30 lakh (Grade B), and Rs.10 lakh (Grade C). Meanwhile, the man’s annual contracts are categorized in this way: Rs.7 crore for Grade A+, Rs. 5 crore for Grade A, Rs. 3 crore for Grade B, and Rs. 1 crore for Grade C.
Grade A- Smriti Mandhana, Deepti Sharma, and Harmanpreet Kaur.
Grade B- Jemimah Rodrigues, Renuka Thakur, Shafali Verma, Rajeshwari Gayakwad, and Richa Ghosh.
Grade C– Sabbineni Meghana, Pooja Vastrakar, Meghna Singh, Devika Vaidya, Radha Yadav, Sneh Rana, Yastika Bhatia, Anjali Sarvani, and Harleen Deol.
Grade A- Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, Rohit Sharma, and Ravindra Jadeja.
Grade B- Shubham Gill, KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, Cheteshwar Pujara, Suryakumar Yadav, and Mohammed Siraj.
Grade C- Sanju Samson, Washington Sundar, KS Bharat, Arshdeep Singh, Deepak Hooda, Ishan Kishan, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Shardul Thakur, Washington Sundar, Sanju Samson, Shikhar Dhawan, and Umesh Yadav.
